Students don’t just learn about technology. They build it!
This is the motto guiding Mr. Soumahoro’s Computer Technology Networking and CompTIA A+ training at County Prep High School, where future IT professionals begin their journey.
In this hands-on program, students dive into essential computer hardware. Recent class activities included installing and configuring GPUs, power supply units, and PCI expansion cards, building real-world skills that prepare them for the CompTIA A+ certification and careers in IT support.
By assembling and upgrading fully functioning computer systems, students learn how each component works together. They build confidence, sharpen their problem-solving abilities, and develop the technical expertise needed to thrive in today’s fast-growing IT industry.
This is more than a class. It is career preparation through meaningful, industry-focused practice.
