Learn to identify basic plumbing tools, materials, fittings, valves, and fixtures. Hours of hands-on experience will teach the students to measure, cut, and assemble gas pipes, copper, PVC, and cast-iron pipes. Learn the purpose of traps, vents, back-flow preventers, and relief valves. Special classes will also be dedicated to the repair of leaky faucets, running toilets, and clogged pipes. Hands-on experience will include the installation of water closets, lavatories, hot water heaters, dishwashers, and pumps.
