2024-12-17 – Community Cooking – 12/17/2024, Tuesday – Soup Night – Course #113107.14

Ready to roll up your sleeves and cook like a pro?  Learn fundamental skills for a lifetime of great cooking in these hands-on community classes led by a professional chef in a state-of-the-art kitchen.  Suited for any cooking experience level, you will work side-by-side with other students and receive step-by-step instructions to learn culinary secrets and create delicious dishes from scratch. Put on an apron, come hungry, and leave with confidence and recipes to replicate at future home meals

 Soup Night: Students will learn and understand how to make cream soups and hearty bean soups such as shrimp bisque, cream of mushroom, Hearty lentil, smoked ham, and many more!

For your safety:

  • Wear comfortable clothes that you can move around in and cover your legs
  • Closed-toe shoes are mandatory
  • Long hair should be pulled back. Hats, bandanas, or other head coverings are encouraged.
  • Alert staff if you have any allergies. HCST is a nut-free facility but participants with allergies to shellfish, soy, gluten, dairy, etc. should check with their doctor before starting. If you do have allergies, you are required to bring your Epi-Pen.
