This 15-week course is designed for the aspiring allied health professional that is seeking to gain formal training and instruction in the art of Phlebotomy and EKG. Upon successful completion of this course, you will have the qualifications (and opportunity) to take the NHA (National Health Association) Certified Phlebotomist and EKG Technician exams.
The first 8 weeks of this 15-week course will be dedicated to Phlebotomy. As we navigate the course, we will see how many of the core concepts and practices in the medical setting overlap. Having a solid understanding of these concepts facilitates the ability to ensure consistent quality control, attention to detail, patient and tech safety, best practices, confidence, the ability to execute these skills with precision, and the development of being able to remain adaptable.
*Mandatory Uniform Required – Students must purchase BLACK medical scrubs and crocs with no holes.
