This course leads to the preparation for the N.J. Water/Wastewater Licensing Examination.  This course will fine-tune the students' understanding of wastewater and collection systems as they further prepare for the N.J. Licensing Examination.  Course content will cover water treatment, collection systems, confined space and safety, sludge digestion, and solids handling.  Effluent disposal techniques, pumps, motor maintenance, basic electrical knowledge, preview rules, and regulations, plant safety practices, and preliminary laboratory procedures and methods will be addressed.  Completion and passing of the course qualifies students to sit for the following licensing exams: S1, C1, W1, and T1.
