This course is designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills required for a successful career in bookkeeping or accounting. Students will gain a deep understanding of the fundamental principles of bookkeeping, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and producing financial statements. They will also explore the specific features and functionalities of QuickBooks that streamline the bookkeeping process and enhance productivity. In addition, students will learn to work with customers’ activities as it relates to creating invoices, receiving payments, entering sales receipts, and bank reconciliation. By the end of this course, students will have the necessary skills to perform professional tasks using QuickBooks, including customizing financial reports, managing payroll, and generating statements for vendors and customers.
