Welding Fall All Levels

This course is designed to give the beginner and novice welding student hours of instruction through lectures, one-on-one demonstrations, practical application, and experience in electric arc welding. An overview of safety, metal preparation, electrode selection, bead placement, and joint welding in the flat, vertical and overhead positions are practiced using various electrodes. Stages provide the opportunity to practice and master the skills introduced in the previous program stage. Each semester is 90 hours, certificates will be awarded after each stage.

Safety glasses and work shoes must be worn at all times. Uniforms not included. Students must supply their own welding gloves, helmets, and safety glasses.
